IMPLEMENTATION
Promote deliberately.
Temporary observations do not become permanent truth automatically. Promote only stable, useful facts; keep provenance and expiry visible; rebuild derived stores from canonical notes.
Capture with provenance
Label source, date, confidence, and intended audience.
Canonicalize
Review and write durable knowledge in human-readable Markdown.
Derive safely
Rebuild retrieval and compact caches from approved sources.
Expire or correct
Remove stale hot-cache facts and record corrections without hiding history.
Copyable public prompt
Classify [FACT] as temporary observation, canonical knowledge, rebuildable index data, compact hot-cache fact, or operational evidence. Explain promotion criteria, provenance, expiry, correction path, and privacy handling. Use placeholders only.
Privacy warning
Never publish raw logs, private paths, credentials, personal records, IPs, endpoints, or raw inventories. Public examples must be synthetic and minimized.
Verification gate
- Every item has a lifecycle class.
- Derived stores can be rebuilt.
- Promotion and expiry are explicit.
- Evidence is minimized and safe.
